Trauma Informed Yoga is for anyone interested in yoga, trauma, and healing: trauma survivors, yoga students, therapists, yoga teachers, social workers, healthcare practitioners, yoga studio owners, and more. The training will offer practical techniques to self-regulate, relieve the symptoms of stress and trauma exposure, and increase peace and well-being. Participants will first focus on applying the content to the self-as a measure of self-care, and then to those they serve. We will be exploring the intersection of yoga, stress, and healing: making this training appropriate for anyone. The workshop will include traditional learning and experiential learning. The physical practice of yoga will be available for those who choose to participate, but is not required.
